My Name is Russell Aiton

I was born and raised in Humboldt County, where I also raised my children. My early work experience came from working in the timber industry, in a local mill and then in the woods. I started Custom Stump Grinders in 1995. My attention to detail and years of experience have provided me with the knowledge, expertise, and ability to offer our customers peace of mind knowing that a professional is handling their needs in a fast and efficient manner for any stump grinding project while providing high quality workmanship. I am proud of this small, family-run business and appreciate all the support we’ve received from our community over the years.



My Name is Scott High

I was born in 1989 and am a proud Humboldt County local. I graduated from McKinleyville High School in 2007, where I developed a love for our beautiful natural surroundings and the tight-knit community. I’ve enjoyed exploring everything Humboldt has to offer, from its stunning coastlines to its lush redwood forests. I joined our family business and have been working for Custom Stump Grinders since 2018.
